It seems super important--especially now that I'm well into middle age--to absolutely forbid any further fat from attaching itself to my body.
Really, no time will ever be finer than the present to make sure the unneeded load gets whacked--and soon. But not TOO fast, or it will creep back. Ugh.
I do remember what it was like to not own so many extra pounds on my not-that-large bone structure. I could bend over without knocking the wind out of myself, I could climb a couple flights of stairs without lagging behind everyone else. I rarely huffed or puffed. I'm conquering those discomforts and I'm going to be a normal weight as an elderly person, and much sooner than that. My health - my life- depends on it. What I've found to be the most effective tool to conquer overweight -- and many other problems that keep you from leading your best possible life - is in learning and using mental toughness tools. A wonderful couple, Steve and Dawn Siebold, who have themselves benefited from making mental toughness part of their daily lives, developed it to work specifically for weight loss. Steve is a former international athlete and tennis coach who teaches mental toughness to corporate sales teams. You can learn about mental toughness for weight control here:

I recently heard about the HEALTHY steakburgers from this wonderful Texas ranch-what a super place-and we look forward to trying their special beef. Take a look at these folks and their facility at this blog address:

FEED ME BUBBE EPISODE - WONDERFUL GRANNY
Story about Bubbe
Bubbe is back by ZDNet's Andrew Keen -- So there I was, on the BART train, reading the newspaper-that-Rupert-is-lusting-after. I'd just finished Mossberg's piece of hot air on the Helio (yawn). Then my eye caught the photograph in the center of the page. It was the latest pin-up for alter-kucker media.
